Where It All Began: The Shehnaz' Story
Najmabi Kutbuddin Shaikh —
The legacy of New Shehnaz Fish Merchant was started by Najmabi in 1975 at Range-Hills, Khadki, Pune. Her mission embodies a perfect commitment to change. She adapted to the tides of the sea fish industry, maintaining quality, supply & service.
Products were sourced from five fishing harbors along both the West & East Coast, which enabled us to maintain supplies
throughout the year of fresh & super quality sea fish
which ultimately improved our value to our customers,
our suppliers & to our network.

The Legacy and Ideology were taken forward by
Hasmuddin Kutbuddin Shaikh,
Son of Najamabi Kutbuddin Shaikh joined their family
business in 1992, and he changed the face of the
business by introducing themselves to Hotels,
Restaurants, Catering, and companies in Maharashtra.

Kadir Kutbuddin Shaikh,
Son of Najamabi Kutbuddin Shaikh, after completing his education, joined their family business in 1997, and he truly changed the way business was done in India, with a clear and forward-thinking vision. By stepping confidently into the wholesale market, he not only grew the company but inspired everyone around him with his long-term clarity and dedication.
Sahil Kadir Shaikh,
Sahil, Son of Kadir Kutbuddin Shaikh, the dynamic third-generation successor, has taken the reins of the business with remarkable vision and drive. In just two years, he has expanded the company’s footprint by launching two new branches across Pune, elevating the business to new heights of exporting fish from Pune to across the world, and continuing the legacy of innovation and growth.
