Atlantic Salmon / Pink Salmon

Atlantic salmon, scientifically known as Salmo salar, are anadromous fish, meaning they live in both freshwater and saltwater environments. They are characterized by a silvery body, especially when in the ocean, and distinctive black spots, particularly on the gill cover, which helps distinguish them from Pacific salmon.
