Ladyfish, also known as skipjack or ten-pounder, is a slender, predatory fish with silvery sides and a blue-gray back. It has a small, pointed head, a terminal mouth, and small scales covering its elongated body. Ladyfish are found in shallow, coastal marine and brackish waters, and occasionally enter freshwater.
